The Science

What really sets Rejuvabrew Healthy Coffee apart? It all starts with polyphenols.  What the heck are polyphenols? Polyphenols are natural compounds, mostly antioxidants, that occur in many fruits, vegetables, and herbs.  There are thousands of polyphenols and they classify into three main categories; Flavonoids, Phenolic Acids and "Other" polyphenols.  The "other" category contains such nutrients as curcumin from turmeric and resveratrol from red wine.  The main polyphenol we are focused on is chlorogenic acid which is the primary polyphenol in coffee.

The green (unroasted) coffee bean is packed full of antioxidants. These polyphenols are rich in chlorogenic acids. However, in coffee roasting, the high temperatures burn the amazing polyphenol compounds out of the beans. Using the patented HealthlyRoast® coffee roasting process these healthy properties are preserved throughout the roasting process offering delicious coffee with 200% more antioxidants than the same coffee beans using a typical roasting process and more antioxidants than most green teas.

The HealthlyRoast® patent uses a water extraction process that requires NO ADDITIVES OR PRESERVATIVES.

So what does all of this polyphenol talk really mean?  Science shows that high polyphenols in the digestive tract can protect against the acids that hurt us.  Our coffee is not necessarily low-acid when brewed but it yields a very stomach friendly cup of Joe!
